When we photograph a wedding, we always strive to spice our photos up with a bit of romance between the bride and groom, after all, weddings are about love and connection, so shouldn't your wedding photography highlight that? When you are searching for romantic wedding photographers in Knoxville, TN be sure to review their portfolio thoroughly.
This photograph was taken during Courtney & Greg's wedding at The House In The Woods located behind the Maryville College campus. We are honored to have been chosen to photograph their wedding day memories. For every wedding we are commissioned to photograph, we always attempt to have the bride and groom come out with us for some creative images at our around sunset. Sunset is ideal for wedding portraits for several reasons.
The first reason is that with the sun setting, the light is more flattering on the skin, giving it a gorgeous creamy look which pops in photographs.
The second reason is that the sunset fulls the sky with amazing colors, which is more aesthetically pleasing than a blank, plain sky.
When we discussed the wedding timeline with Courtney and Greg, we knew what time sunset was and we made a plan for couples photos. On their wedding day, once the bride and groom's first dance had been completed, we noticed the sky turning a beautiful warm orange tone. We quickly advised the bride and groom that this would be the perfect time for a gorgeous and emotional photo of them. A hillside in front of the Maryville College lawns provide a perfect vantage point with the sun being low, allowing us to create this this wedding photo.
